School Council
At Newlands Spring Primary and Nursery School we feel it is important for children to have a say in their learning and that their opinions and views are listened to and acted up. The children are able to acheive this through the School Council.
The School Council is made up of 2 children from each class from Year 1 to year 6. These children are chosen by their class mates at the start of each academic year. The School Council meet every month to improve the learning of all the children in our school.
The aims of the School Council are:
- Improve the learning experiences of all children at Newlands Spring Primary and Nursery School
- Make sure that all learning is fun, interesting and engaging
- Ensure that children have a voice in developing the school
- To lead on the school's Eco-School application and development
